No I was just looking at glass top coffee tables and thought gee you could put an N Scale model railway in there. I mentioned it to my wife and she said, well, do it!
I love it man – do you have any more “build up” photos or videos? I am very interested in tackling one of these after I get more done on my layout. Excellent work – pat on the back for you!
Beauteous! I think I just saw your earlier vid- the one with it actually on your coffee table. Fantastic. I believe my best run time was just about 7 seconds before the derail. (And that was just the engine!) You do great work! it’s too bad that in this world, we cant do what we love for our income(but I suppose that it wouldn’t be a hobby any more!)Keep up the good work! }:)

Make it shorter, WHAT!
Haha, no I like it the way it is it’s kind of hypnotic. Plus it’s not designed to be a prototypical layout, just a bit of fun.

make it longer then. its too short to be hitnotic but too long to be realistic

I’d love to make it longer. Feel free to donate more wagons lol.

What happens when it Derails

The top is hinged, you lift it up, put them back on the track, lower the top, and off you go again.
Touch wood I haven’t had any derailments anyway under normal conditions.

Do you have plans for the layout that you would share?
